okay, I'll admit it, I have never been a fan of Britney Spears, but i have been known to sing her songs at karaoke nights from time to time. I even owned a cd of hers for a brief period a few years back.

but seriously, i feel bad for her. i don't think she should have been out so much since her divorce with two kids under the age of two at home, but i also don't think the public has been fair to her. this woman has obviously been needing help for a while now, and no one has stepped in to give it to her. Instead, we focus on everything she has done wrong and critisized her every movement. It's unfair. How many of us have done some of the same things she has??? I know that after a painful breakup, I have gone out and partied to help alleviate some of my pain, and that i have been known to make bad decisions when it comes to the men in my life. but my family and friends have also helped me out during those times.

this woman has grown up in the public eye, and she is now facing a rough time. Instead of supporting her during these times, her 'loyal' fans are now ousting her and critisizing her. it's not fair.

so before we decide to judge this woman, or any other celebrities for their errors in judgement, lets remember, we've all fucked up and we are bound to do it again.
