i'm sure that everyone has heard about this woman from Ohio by now. she disappeared from home just two or three weeks before her daughter was due. the only witness to her disappearance: her two year old son.
my thoughts and prayers go out to this woman, her unborn child, her son and her family. this was my greatest fear when i was pregnant. to see it happen just breaks my heart in two. i am glad that the person who did this left her son unscathed. i thank God that he was okay. it saddens me that his mother is not there for him. i couldn't imagine what that family is going through right now.
so, to the family and friends of jessie davis... i am so sorry for this tragic event in your lives and i pray that you find closure and peace. i pray that your little girl is returned to you and you get to hold her in your arms once again. i pray that her unborn child is unharmed and that you have that ray of sunshine in these dark days. i pray that you find the person who did this and get the answer of "why". i pray for her son, that he can still live a normal full life and one day be able to understand what happened to his mommy.
most of all... i wish this had never happened. so many bad things happening to good people. what has this world become?
