raising a boy leads to interesting conversations....

here are just a few snippets of some of the recent conversations i've had to have with my two (almost three) year old...

-- Thomas: "look mommy, my wee-wee"
Mommy: "thomas, we don't play with that"
Thomas: (grabbing himself) ME PLAY WIF IT!!!"

-- THomas: (grabbing at me) "dat mommy's boobies"
Mommy: "yes, but don't touch"
Thomas: "why not"

-- Thomas: (jumping at from behind the corner buck naked) "LOOK AT MY WEE-WEE!!!"
Mommy: ....... (laughing hysterically when he's not looking)

-- Thomas: (yanks) "ow" (yank) "ow" (yank) "owie mommy"
Mommy: "if you don't pull it, it won't hurt!"


i am slowly starting to understand that a man's fascination with themselves begins at an early age... everytime i turn around he has his hand down his pants...
